Luckily the era of ostracism has passed and Cuban rock nowadays shows a booming and vital development.
One of the most representative bands is Estigma DC from the capital, followed by metal fans not only for being present in tv shows such as "Cuerda Viva" and for its recordings, but also because of its quality and scenic performances.
Estigma DC participates at every rock festival held in the country; its quintet formation including two guitars and a modern pedal de Metalcore plus a a young and very dynamic vocalist enable the band to connect with their fans who sing along with the same energy.
"Horas oscuras", "Dentro de ti", Estigma" y “RSC” are only a few of the songs which are performed by the vocalist's eccentric style, this young man on front line with a vivid personality and performance, including jumps, pirouettes and a head banding that show appreciation for and knowledge of this type of performance.
Speaking in musical terms, Estigma DC reaches a magic union between the instrumentalists and the vocalist without the shrillness often seen by the most impertous and violent bands of rock metal.
