We are all impatiently waiting for the month of December, which will not only bring us the Festival of New Latin American Cinema, but also the International Art Fair (Feria Internacional de Arte FIART). Organized by the Cuban Fund for Cultural Goods – joined by other institutions, such as the Cuban Handicraft Association (Asociación Cubana de Artesanos Artistas ACAA) – this fair is held annually at the fairground PABEXPO, between 8th and 18th of the last month of the year.
With a big audience, both national and international, FIART offers useful and decorative handicraft of great value and International exhibitors, this year they come from 14 different countries.
Industries such as the EGREM and BIS MUSIC, among others, support and complete the fair with music, images and other articles, an incomparable opportunity for the artists to show what they are able to do with their skillful hands.
Many of the artists are nowadays known also in foreign countries, thanks to their work shown and sold at FIART, which is known for exhibiting the most authentic and indigenous international handicraft.
FIART is an event to look, buy, taste different cuisines, share with friends and family and from where we arrive home satisfied, as our José Marti pointed out: “The beautiful ennobles”.
