Eslinda Nuñez

Eslinda Nuñez

One of the most emblematic faces of Cuban Cinema is that of Eslinda Nuñez, a theater, television, and film actress who has developed an interpretive style fill of veracity, passion, and total devotion.

In the seventh art she had the privilege of acting in the three most memorable films of Cuban cinematography: La primera carga al machete by Manuel Octavio Gómez, Memorias del subdesarrollo by Tomás Gutiérrez Alea, and Lucia by Humberto Solás.

Her formation as an artist began in the musical theater of Havana, which gave her integral training. In the theater academy studio, where she had Raquel and Vincente Revuelta as mentors. In the small screen she demonstrated her histrionic talents in series and telenovelas such as Pasión y Prejuicio, Doble juego y Polvo en el viento.

The theater saw her unfold herself in other summits of our dramaturge, one being Santa Camila de La Habana Vieja, in which she had Alberto Pujols as a companion, and was put in a very suggestive scene, which took place in the Plaza de La Catedral de La Habana.

Movies such as the Cuban-Soviet (Russia) coproduction El jinnete sin cabeza - in which she acted with Enrique Santiesteban, Alejandro Lugo, Farah María, and others- until she recently starred in Juan de los muertos, guaranteeing the trajectory of this beautiful, talented actress that has, to her credit, the National Cinema Award 2011.
