Al Medina Restaurant

Al Medina Restaurant

Maybe it´s some influential ancestral gene originating in the Arabic region, but the truth is, out of all the cuisines within my reach, Arabic is among my favorite. The harmonious combination that´s achieved when using Mediterranean cuisine with Hindu-style seasonings simply results formidably, even for the most rigorous palate.

In addition, Arabic food is healthy, as it´s base is flavorful lamb, which according to some criteria, is freer of diseases. The aromatic thyme is another of its main ingredients, as well as curry, saffron, nutritious vegetables and all citrus fruits, and of course there are other much more mysterious components.

I recommend that you all try any of the dishes offered at Al Medina Restaurant, especially the couscous, kebabs, hummus and their falafel, as those are some of the most emblematic. The rigor, shown in-house, that is taken for each dish is absolutely excellent, and the service deserves being described as outstanding.

The place itself and its atmosphere contribute to the wellbeing of the guest, and the delicate decoration and ever present scent of incense are elements that satisfy your gastronomical excursion to distant lands. The restaurant also has two cafeterias, parking, a bar also with a good ambience and a store selling Middle Eastern products.

In regard to prices, they are a little above average, but well worth the expense to taste such precious Arab delicacies.

If you´re a lover of food and in Havana, I cordially call you to go to Al Medina Restaurant.
