Handycraft in La Rampa
For the last eleven years, in the heart of El Vedado, the Art Fair in La Rampa has become an attractive option for people looking to buy Cuban art.
There are also over 30 concerts in the area every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at 5:00pm, with acts such as: David Torrens, Ernesto Blanco, Arnaldo y su Talisman, Eme Alfonso, Leoni Torres, David Álvarez y Juego de Manos, Patricio Amaro, Ivette Cepeda, Diana Fuentes, Havana de Primera, Pancho Amat y Maria Victoria, Frank Delgado, Síntesis, Santiago y Vicente Feliu, Interactivo, Francis del Rio, opera de la Calle, Vocal Sampling, Isis Flores, Sexto Sentido, Gerardo Alfonso, Raul Paz, Polito Ibanez, Lyn Milanes and Dayani Lozano, among others.
Every Saturday at 4:00, there are fashion shows. There are evenings devoted to theater, concerts, book readings, film screenings, and much more for these summer days. There is also programming for kids, with clowns, choral groups, dance, storytellers, and the characters from children's TV shows.
At these festivals, you can buy books, álbumes, and mamey different kinds of art. The program runs from July 2nd through September 5th, from Tuesday through Friday 2:00-6:00 p.m., from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m on the weekends.
