San Jose Cultural Center (old warehouses).
Tourists to Havana love the work of Cuban artisans as gifts for family and friends back home. Recently, artisans sold their wares near the Malecon, in Old Havana, in conditions that were far from ideal.
But now they can sell their work at the newly opened Cultural Center "Old Warehouses San Jose", where visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of the Bay of Havana.
The Cultural Center, located in the Alameda de Paula marina, has a currency exchange, bathrooms, food shops, administrative offices, phone services, and soon will also have stores and restaurants. It will also soon house exhibits and be home to music performances, as well as other cultural activities.
You can enjoy the work of the Brotherhood of Textile Workers as their work is shown on the runway.
On Sundays, the Giganteria theater troupe performs, and on Saturdays the National Concert Band performs. Soon trolley car rides will be offered in the vicinity.
This center is soon becoming a must see attraction in Havana.
