Also known as the House of DJs, and as one of the first karaoke bars in Havana, and although it’s nothing fancy, it’s frequented by all kinds of people who come to have a good time.
There are no live performances here, but the Djs get people moving, and often have cool visuals to go along with their music.
They play all the big hits and get people to participate in karaoke, which is always fun to watch, whether for the ridiculous songs some people sing or they amazing job that others do.
Some people say that the club is also popular among gays and lesbians from Havana, as well as with gay tourists from abroad; the place is also a popular starting off point for private parties, which are usually fun for their exclusive nature.
Club Tropical is located in a very central spot on the F Line, in El Vedado, which is very easy for tourists to get to, whether they’re staying in the city center or Playa.
Many of the most popular DJs in Havana started their careers in Club Tropical, and many of them end up returning to remember old times and have a good time with the clientele.
