Síntesis
Experts and followers agree, Síntesis is one of the best Cuban rock bands. Band leader since the beginning, Carlos Alfonso has succeeded in harmonically structuring contemporary and patrimonial sources of popular Cuban music, fusing African fundamentals with jazz, rock, pop and international music.
Saturday, 30 April, starting at 10:00 p.m., Síntesis will play a concert in room B at the Pabexpo cultural center, a place in which promoters have rightly dubbed as the "Cuban Art Factory." An interesting and necessary project—designed for young people—this area promotes integrating art forms such as dance, audiovisual, visual arts and music.
Síntesis´ quality has allowed them to share the stage with international and national musical luminaries such as Los Van Van, Chucho Valdés, Irakere, Pablo Milanés, Arturo Sandoval, Fito Paéz, Ray Barreto and Winston Marsalis, among many others. Their award-winning discography also supports this unique group´s trajectory, as will the action closing this month´s programming at the Cuban Art Factory, which has also been visited by X Alfonso and Diana Fuentes.
