Talented, but difficult to classify. So is Francis del Río, a young musician who nevertheless possesses intense and valuable professional experience, which has permitted him to mature, develop and refine his own style that is different and highly accepted among the national contemporary music scene.
This artist has many little-known facets, responsible for many of his compositions´ themes. Also, Francis managed, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered his most recent phonogram, "Sol," and did it well.
Since 2001, Francis has deservedly become one of the pillars of the revolutionary musical project, Interactivo, a truly avant-garde collection that has cultivated what many critics have dubbed as "hipersalsa."
In his performances, Francis del Rio demonstrates with style, clever improvisations and fluid interaction with the public, total command of the stage, whether singing with his own band or with Interactivo.
"I´m reflecting reality, I´m a dreamer and I sing the music I wish for people to hear. I mix what the people see and what I see, I am a human being that has great affinity for music" Francis recently said.
