The artistic career of this young and beautiful artist full of enthusiasm started in 1961 at the famous cabaret “Tropicana”, being observed by the great Rodney who predicted her a brilliant future as artist. Mayda Limonta became the first black women at the majestic “Paraíso bajo las estrellas (“A paradise underneath the stars”), as the “Tropicana” also goes by.
