Café Karabalí
This place has always been a chic place to enjoy yourself. Located in Havana's La Rampa, it is also known as a good spot for lovers and romantics. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday there are matinee performances from 4-8pm, and then every day of the week there are evening performances from 10pm-3am.
Among those currently performing at the Karabali Cafe are the singer Osdalgia, who appears on Tuesdays; the singer Raul Araujo, the comedian Cabo Pantera, and Jorgito El Salsero, who alternate Wednesdays and Thursdays; Fridays are devoted to the popular singer Waldo Mendoza, and Saturdays belong to Yenisei del Castillo. On Sundays, Juan Carlos (El Gordo), a versatile comedian, and the singer Duany Antonio perform.
The Karabali can hold 120 people, and during the day serves as a restaurant, with light fare. At night, I recommend ordering from the bar the Amor Cocktail, with a piña colada base with mint liqueur and grenadine.
Address: Calle 23 at N and O, Vedado, Havana.
