La Select is a central, modern complex, favored by Cubans and foreigners due to all the diversity they offer. However, I want to focus mainly on the drinks, because this is a place where you can drink wherever you like.
At the entrance is Bar 28, which now has an area dedicated to fine pastries, sweets and candies. Perhaps it´s because some people like to drink and eat something sugary; I´ve known some of them. Continuing on, directly outside Bar 28, is an area equipped with tables where you can drink, talk and relax in the shade at a nice temperature.

It´s always euphemistically said that Cuba enjoys an eternal summer, a claim in which here, has basically become a slogan. And so true it is, that in this month of May (spring in many parts of the world), thermometers register temperatures typical to a scorching summer.

The Cafe Fresa y Chocolate is one of the best places in Havana
Named after the formidable and award-winning film by Tomás Gutiérrez Alea, this place is considered a cultural center geared toward the night, hence it is a great place to have a beer or cocktail, as I recently discovered in one of my wanderings around the city.
