Restaurant Bar La Roca (The Rock), Havana City.
This bar is well-known due to the internacional cuisine prepares by its chefs, the pleasant ambience, and the variety at the bar. The great Cuban painter Rene Portocarrero was a regular at the bar. The bar is a block from the Rampa, on the corner of calles M and 21, in El Vedado.
It's very close to the Hotel Capri (closed for repairs), the Hotel Nacional and the Habana Libre, so it is visited by many tourists. They go because the bar is possibly one of the best in the city.
The bartenders are skilled at preparing just about any drink, international as well as Cuban specialties, and the house specialties for which the bar has received awards. The bar is dimly lit because of the glass that covers the walls of the bar.
The bar is also not too loud for normal conversation, as in most other bars. All in all, this spot is special and well worth the visit.
