Restaurants have special offers for Christmas Night.
In this special month of the year, Havana´s hotels and restaurants have special offers for both visitors and the general public, all related to 24 December, a classic "Noche Buena" (Good Night) for Cubans.
For example and your consideration, Club Almendares´s "Restaurante El Lugar," is offering specials designed for two which include one drink for each person. The #1, at $10.00 CUC, is a turkey breast with an apple sauce, black beans and rice, French fries and a bar of chocolate. The #2, at $12.00 CUC, is grilled and poached pork, black beans and rice, French fries and fudge. The #3, at $20.00 CUC, is a steak filet marinated in red wine, black beans and rice, French fries, a bar of chocolate and a bottle of red wine. The #4, at $11.00 CUC, is a chicken breast with a pineapple salsa, black beans and rice, French fries, a bar of chocolate and a bottle of hard cider.
The special offer of the night is called the "Sorpresa Navideña," the Christmas Surprise, which is "Bistec Palomilla," (beef steak) with an exotic fruit salsa, as well as shrimp and perch with black beans and rice, yucca dipped in Creole, "torrejas acarameladas," (a syrupy French toast) and a bottle of red wine.
All offers come with a welcome cocktail, bread and butter, salad, a scoop of ice-cream, grapes and apples. All so one can greatly enjoy this Christmas.
